Finally a little sunny weather.....
Wisconsin's season is closed. We are fishing and guiding over in Iowa. Some Minnesota creeks are open too, make sure to check your regulations before heading out.
Creeks are in good shape. Flowing well and not too cold right now. Fishing nymphs and leeches until the afternoon will get you fish. Concentrate on deeper water (runs and pools) as the sun warms things up, the fish will push a bit into the riffles. There have been a few dry flies showing up (midges and some late olives) but don't expect spectacular surface activity. It's a bonus this time of year, not a given.
