Wisconsin's season is closed.  We are fishing and guiding over in Iowa.  There are also limited areas in Minnesota open for fishing right now. Check youre regulations before you head out.
A bit of light rain this morning, but it is not enough to make anything color up on the creeks.  Fishing has been good lately with the warmer temperatures making it more comfortable for humans to be outside.  Fishing is still almost all nymphing with a smattering of late afternoon hatches bringing the trout to the surface briefly.
Please note that fish are spawning right now (brown and brook trout.  Rainbows spawn in the spring).  Leave spawning fish alone and try to stay off the shallow creek bottom when legally possible!
