Excellent weather for fishing BUT. Driving around in Wisconsin yesterday to look at creeks, the fish are in full on spawning mode. The fish would prefer that you did not disturb spawning I'm pretty sure.
If you fish (remember Wisconsin is closed, Iowa is open and only portions of Minnesota are open) please take care and stay out of the water as much as possible (and legal) and do not fish spawning fish! Concentrate on the deep pools below the riffles.
This hold true through the entire winter and early season. Please wade lightly and do not walk over spawning beds. That's the future population sitting in the gravel.
