Wisconsin's season is closed until the first Saturday in January. We are fishing and guiding over in Iowa.
Scattered rain showers after 10am, mixing with snow after 5pm. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to near 41 by noon, then falling to around 36 during the remainder of the day. West wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
While the weather is pretty miserable looking on paper, it isn't awful out there! Fishing has been solid subsurface on midge larvae and scuds. The creeks are clear to slightly stained and running well.
There is a chance of seeing some rising fish in the afternoons to midges and some leftover olives too. The hatches have been sparse but if they show up, fish are rising to them!
