Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Creeks are clear to slightly stained with good water temperatures. While we are due for some warm-fish late summer weather (hitting highs near 80 most of the week) the fishing is more than solid. Look for fishing to pick up in the late morning when things dry out and the terrestrials start moving around. Fishing a foam fly with a dropper is excellent right now!
In the evenings we will see some rising fish eating olives. Simple parachutes and film critics will get the job done.
Subsurface flies are trending toward thinner bodied. Food, copper johns, pink and purple belly PTs etc.
