UPDATE: 3:00. Rain was only south and east of us. There has not been a drop of rain in Viroqua and the sun is shining! They also dropped the chance of rain today to 40%. It's looking like we are dodging a bullet again today!
Showers and thunderstorms likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. High near 72. Southwest wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
We were dead wrong about yesterday. The storms never came and it was on and off gentle showers most of the day yesterday! Creeks are still in good shape right now. We are supposed to get some more storms this afternoon however.
Fishing continues to be solid area wide with fish feeding subsurface throughout the day, and focusing on the hatches in the evenings. While this week will warm up temperature wise a bit, water temperatures are excellent for summer. Just avoid sunny parts of the day and you will catch trout!
