Creeks are clear to slightly stained with temperatures in the 50s. Only one or two creeks are still heavily stained from the rains a few days ago!
Fishing is good during the day on nymphs and terrestrials. As things dry out, beetles and ants become more effective throughout the day.
Throwing a heavy nymph right below the riffles and into the pockets in the riffles is deadly all day long.
In the evening things light up with most of the creeks having pods of rising fish. They are feeding on craneflies, caddis, lighter colored mayflies and even midges!
