Still nothing fantastic condition wise. Fishing is good, but winter good. Make sure you are fishing rising water temperatures. That is, by far, the most important variable for catching fish in the Driftless in the winter.
We're seeing midges and a few winter stoneflies on the banks, and pods of rising fish in the middle part of the day.
