Cloudy, with a high near 69. South wind 9 to 13 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Cooler and drizzly throughout the day today. We received about 2/3 and inch of rain last night which will bring up some creek levels and put some color back into the water too. In the murky water fish leeches and san juan worms as well as scuds.
Caddis are hatching on the clear creeks mid day and fish are taking dries as well as larvae and pupae.
The creek lamprey are showing up again so do not be afraid to throw a large olive leech pattern.
