Creeks are starting to calm down with most running clear to stained. The lower sections of some larger creeks are still draining and can be pretty murky.
Fishing has been good when the sun is off the water. Trout are keying in on attractor patterns on the surface as well as leeches subsurface. Smaller, flashy nymphs and midge larvae are working well under the surface too.
Since the streams were scoured a few days ago, the sun has really become the limiting factor. Bright sunny days mean poor fishing. Wait for clouds to roll in for some really fun fishing!
