Increasing clouds, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning.
It's getting very nice for late July! Yesterday was hot and sunny and just plain uncomfortable, but thanks to recent rains the creeks are flowing well and water temperatures aren't horrible! Most creeks are running in the high 50s to mid 60s. With the cooler weather ahead, still use your thermometer, but temps should be less of a concern for a few days. Sun is still a limiting factor, so fish early and late and find some shade. Fish will be holding tight to cover and in deep holes when the sun is shining.
Tricos in the mornings, terrestrials all day long, and subsurface fishing has been good on tiny bead heads and sunken ants and beetles.
Mousing has been a lot of fun lately as has fishing larger streamers when the sun is off the water.
