Mostly cloudy, with a high near 89. Heat index values as high as 98. Light south wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
This looks like the last day (hopefully) of the heat wave.  It is incredibly humid and uncomfortable out already.  There is a chance of some rain today and into tonight which will get the humidity out of the air and cool things down quite a bit.  We're looking forward to that...
Fishing has been difficult with higher temperatures, but things should get back on track quickly over the next day or two.  Look for tricos early, followed by good fishing with a hopper/dropper combination.  We have also been seeing the true trico hatch (not the morning spinner fall) before sunset the past few days as well.
The most important thing is using your thermometer right now.  Water temperatures over 65 will mean crummy fishing, and anything higher than that begins to be overly stressful to trout.
