Warmer, sunny weather has brought the caddis back! While not as thick as it was a couple of weeks ago, fish will key in on them again along with the craneflies. Don't forget to move your flies! Twitched and skittered caddis and craneflies are deadly right now.
Subsurface fishing continues to be strong on pretty much anything gray in a size 14-16 as it represents caddis and cranefly larvae. We are also having success on tan scuds and frenchies.
