Wow what a good week of winter fishing we have.  Things started out strong yesterday with fish happily eating scuds, midge larvae and leeches rolled along the bottom of deeper pools.  Water temps were 35-40 yesterday.  With warmer weather coming, look for the fish to move out of the deepest spots and start feeding in the runs.  The weekend weather is supposed to hit 40 degrees!  If that happens watch for some hatches to come off mid day.  Also when the temperatures get above 40 make sure you are using your thermometer, as snowmelt later in the day will drop the water temperature and cause fishing to shut down.
